Rebekah Zimmerman-Watts is an artist living in Chicago with her husband and two cats. She grew up on the gulf coast of Florida and was constantly experimenting with various artistic mediums. In 2008 she moved to Chicago to pursue a degree & career in photography.

After graduating from Columbia College Chicago, she worked around the city photographing events, assisting on photoshoots and eventually finding her stride in studio management and production.

In 2018 Rebekah survived a sudden hemorrhagic stroke from a ruptured brain aneurysm. This health trauma has made her life hit pause and spend years in recovery. During this time she rediscovered her love of art and began experimenting yet again.

Currently Rebekah can be found painting abstract and realistic waterscapes, creating photo impressionism imagery and learning plant/botanical based dyeing. Through all different mediums her focus is on simple yet profound moments that act as a calming visual meditation.
